CATRICE HD LIQUID COVERAGE FOUNDATION ΚΑΙ CATRICE CAMOUFLAGE CONCEALER ENGLISH REVIEW
Every single time we buy a new makeup product, we have the same anxiety : will it be good or a waste of money? It's a real pleasure (and relief) ,when,not onlyit's good,but becomes one of your loved ones ! This is what happened with Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation.
My skin is fair to medium with yellow undertones , normal with slightly oily T, redness above and around the nose and depending on the day of the month (women can understand what I mean ) I have 2-3 pimples.
The HD Liquid Coverage Foundation promises to give full coverage, lasts 24 hours, is matte and gives second skin effect. It comes in 30 ml (like most foundations), with glass bottle,that raises the prestige of the content and has a dropper.The shade I have is 030 .Let's see if it does what it claims :
Does it have any cover? Yes,it has .I have read various conflicting reviews (as always happens) about the coverage.The brush gives me 100% coverage ! Okay, 95%. In case I still see some redness, I come back locally with a minimum of product and pass a 2nd layer . Personally I like, after I've finished applying with the brush, to get a damp sponge and pass the whole face.I l prefer this finish.
Does it last 24 hours? I don't know how many of you have tried to wear a foundation for 24 hours, and in which condition you found your skin the next morning (NEVER, NEVER, never sleep with your makeup)! I think I wear my make-up about 12-14 hours the most.So rephrase: does it last for 12 hours and more ? Well, it does!Usually with every foundation, after 4-6 hours I have shine on the nose (depending on the foundation).With this one I noticed that my nose starts to shine (not much) around 6-7 hours after. If I wipe (the shine) with my makeup brush or a tissue , the makeup still looks amazing !And the craziest part? The same goes after 12 -14 hours ! ! !
Is it matte? Yes it is! It has a matte finish , without "drying" you.On the contrary, it gives a velvety finish and you feel like you have nothing on your face..But the best part is that you see a better version of your skin (here's the second skin effect) . I believe it suits better on people with oily and normal / combination skin.If you previously get in a super moisturizing primer, it might also be fine for people with dry skin.
The Liquid Camouflage Concealer claims to offer a full coverage, which lasts 12 hours, it camouflages the dark circles and it's waterproof. I have the shade 020 Light Beige (it fits perfectly with the foundation).Because I don't have dark circles or strong lines under the eyes,I can't tell if it has strong coverage.It's true it has durability and it's waterproof. It's a good concealer,but I'm a bit skeptical , because of its scent. It's a very strong scent like fragrance and the first 2-3 times I used it, it brought me tears. I have no allergies and I'm not sensitive with perfums and fragrances,so it it was a big, unpleasant surprise for me.
